Joe D. Crider has been promoted to president of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, succeeding William T. Gimbel, who has had that title for the past 30 years.
Crider, whose previous title was executive vice president, will also be chief operating officer. Gimbel will continue as chairman and chief executive of the metals company.
Additionally, David H. Hannah, chief financial officer, was named vice president.
