Sym-Tek Systems reported that net income fell 17% to $246,000 and revenues rose 3% to $6.8 million for the third quarter ended Dec. 31. Sym-Tek, which produces automatic testing equipment for the semiconductor industry, boosted its R&D; spending by 47% to $1 million.
