The president of a drug company was killed and his wife and daughter burned when their automobile exploded in the company parking lot in Texarkana, Tex., authorities said. Two unoccupied cars parked nearby were demolished and nearby buildings shook. Darryl Crouch, 36, the driver of the late model Mercedes that exploded after he turned the ignition at the Walsh Lumpkin Drug Co., was killed, police spokesman Earl Cox said. Cox said agents of the FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were called to the scene. Investigators at the scene said an explosive device was attached to the car. The reason for the attack had not been determined, officials said.
