Fluor Daniel to Oversee Building of Northrop Plant

A division of the Fluor Corp. said it has been contracted by Los Angeles-based Northrop Corp. to provide construction management services for a manufacturing plant to be built beginning this spring in Perry, Ga.
Fluor Daniel, the engineering and construction unit of Irvine-based Fluor, will oversee construction of a facility that will eventually employ 700 workers to manufacture products for the Department of Defense. Neither Fluor nor Northrop would disclose the value of the contract.
