Century Freeway Annexation Area Zoning Approved

The City Council has voted to establish zone classifications for territory within the proposed Century Freeway annexation area.

The council approved five residential, commercial and limited-industrial zones for the 40-acre area bounded by the Century Freeway, Imperial Highway, Inglewood and Prairie avenues. The annexation, initiated by the city last year, will require the consent of a majority of the area’s residents.
