Roy L. Comstock surrendered to authorities.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has accused Comstock of bilking more than 500 investors in California and Texas out of $5 million. Comstock, the former chairman of Comstock Financial Services in Universal City, has been charged with three felony counts of violating corporate securities laws. Also charged in the alleged scheme is David L. Wiksell, Comstock Financial’s former vice president of investments.
