Two men, including one from Southern California, were arrested on charges of deliberately starting a North Las Vegas motel fire last year that claimed four lives and injured 31 occupants. Motel 5 caught fire March 6, 1986. Damage was estimated at $375,000. A spokesman for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said motel owner Jui Fa Lin, 48, was arrested at his North Las Vegas home and motel manager Mark Y. Lee, 51, was taken into custody at his apartment in Glendora. Both men were arraigned on charges in a 13-count federal grand jury indictment alleging arson, mail fraud, wire fraud and aiding and abetting. If convicted, they face a maximum of 80 years in prison and more than $3 million in fines.
