PARIS — Ten workers from a French medical aid organization held hostage for two weeks by guerrillas from the Somalian National Movement were turned over Friday to Ethiopian authorities, French officials said.
The workers, including six women, from Medecines Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) were kidnaped Jan. 24 in a night raid by about 60 guerrillas on workers’ quarters at the Tug Wajale refugee camp in Somalia near the Ethiopian border. The refugee camp serves about 32,000 people, mainly Ethiopians.
