Finnish Studies Say Dental Charts to Help Detect AIDS

HELSINKI, Finland —
An official of the Finnish Dental Assn. said Friday that dentists will receive charts to help them identify AIDS-associated mouth ailments that are said by specialists here to provide early signs of the killer disease.
Studies by two Finnish specialists show that changes often occur in the mucous membranes of the mouths of carriers of acquired immune deficiency syndrome. Finland has recorded 11 deaths from AIDS.
