A group of students at Emory University in Atlanta are upset over “The New Hollywood Squares,” calling the show “moronic” and launching a campaign to have it removed from the air. Nine students picketed Friday in a light rain outside the local ABC affiliate, WSB-TV, which broadcasts the show daily. They carried signs that said, “What would Peter Marshall say?” and “Stop Moronic T.V.,” shouted “Stop the Hollywood Squares” at passing motorists, and delivered a petition to station management. “It is evident . . . this program is completely sub-standard,” said the petition, which was full of spelling errors such as “deseption” and “preprapared.”
