McCarter-Burke & Partners Inc., an Irvine real estate brokerage firm, said it has changed its name to Burke Commercial Real Estate Inc.

The name change reflects the 1985 departure of former partner George McCarter, the company said.

The firm also announced the creation of three Orange County subsidiaries: Burke Information Services, Burke Commercial Development and Burke Asset Management.
