Cypress : Ex-Supervisor to Be Honored at Dinner
Former Supervisor Ralph B. Clark will be honored Feb. 21 at Cypress College’s 12th Anniversary Americana Awards Dinner.
Clark, who retired last month after 16 years on the Board of Supervisors, will be honored as the Americana Man of the Year, and seven other people from the communities served by Cypress College also will be honored for outstanding service to their respective cities.
During his tenure on the board, Clark served 13 years as chairman of the Orange County Transit District, was founding member of the Orange County Transportation Commission and led the effort to bring the Los Angeles Rams to Anaheim.
Tickets for the dinner, dancing and awards program to be held at the Disneyland Hotel are $100 per person, $200 per couple or $1,000 per table. For reservations and information, call the Cypress College Foundation at (714) 826-2220, Ext. 131.
