Local News in Brief : Burbank Forum Slates Candidates for Council

The eight candidates for two Burbank City Council seats are scheduled to appear at a forum Thursday at David Starr Jordan Junior High School, 420. S. Mariposa St. in Burbank.
The forum, to begin at 7 p.m., is sponsored by the Neighborhood Awareness Committee.
Each of the candidates will be asked to make a five-minute opening statement, then will answer questions from the audience, committee president Tim Murphy said.
The municipal election is Feb. 24.
