Two men wearing ski masks and armed with .45-caliber pistols entered the Interstate Jewelry Manufacturing Co., 610 S. Broadway, and tied up seven employees with duct tape before fleeing with an estimated $350,000 in gold, Los Angeles police said. There were no injuries. Detective Jim Miller said officers were viewing tape from a closed-circuit video system that monitors the building for clues to the robbers’ identity.
