UC Irvine Women Fall to USC in Tennis, 5-4

UC Irvine came up one doubles match short in an attempt to upset USC in women’s tennis Thursday at Irvine, losing, 5-4.
The Trojans, 4-0 and ranked second in the Intercollegiate Tennis Coaches Assn. poll, and Anteaters were tied, 3-3, after singles play.
UCI (3-6) won the No. 3 doubles match, but lost the No. 1 and No. 2 matches in straight sets.
