Ignorance may be bliss, but is sometimes stupidity. “The Facts of Life” episode that aired Jan. 10 portrays national college sororities as snobby and prejudiced. Not true! Sororities are not for everyone. Everything has its good and bad. Sororities are no exception. I wish people would look at the positive aspects of sorority life--the friendships, philanthropic endeavors and the networking. Maybe if we understand more about the Greek system, people would be more understanding about why college students join fraternities and sororities.
