Bishop Graphics reported a loss of $104,000, or four cents a share, for its first quarter ended last Dec. 31, compared to a profit of $24,000, or one cent a share, during the first quarter last year. Sales for the quarter dropped 15% to $2.5 million.

The Westlake Village company, which sells drafting supplies used to make printed circuit boards, blamed its poorer performance on the soft economy in the electronics industry and a declining market for its products.
