Carson City Hall Fire Arson?
Arson is suspected in a $500,000 fire at Carson City Hall that gutted the offices of Community Development Director Patricia Nemeth and two of her aides, officials said today.
The fire, which broke out just before midnight Monday, destroyed files dealing with millions of dollars in development, but Nemeth said most of the records are also held in other files and can be duplicated. City Administrator John Dalgleis sent City Hall employees home for the day today. The city is insured against the loss, he said.
