San Marino : Development Plan Rejected
The Planning Commission has rejected a proposed development of six businesses at Winston Avenue and Huntington Drive, citing increased pedestrian and automobile traffic as potential safety hazards.
The corner, now occupied by a vacated service station, is across the street from San Marino High School. Several residents and business owners in the area and the San Marino Unified School District Board of Education all criticized La Mancha Development’s plan to have six individual businesses at the site.
La Mancha has two weeks in which to appeal its proposal to the City Council.
