BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. —
More than 250 mountaineers using long poles to probe the deep snow across an avalanche recovered two more bodies today under five feet of snow and continued searching for one more possibly missing skier, authorities said.
Summit County Sheriff Delbert Ewoldt said one person remained unaccounted for after the second and third bodies were found around noon. The first victim, Martin Donnellan, 21, of Peekskill, N.Y., was found Wednesday afternoon, less than three hours after the avalanche.
