Hewlett-Packard Co., a leading computer and electronic products company, said its first-quarter net income rose 6% on a 9% increase in revenue. The Palo Alto-based company said orders rose 13% in the quarter ended Jan. 31. Domestic orders were up 3% to $930 million, while international orders rose 24% to $1 billion.
