Seminary Costs Less for Younger Students

NEW YORK —
Research by Episcopal Church agencies finds that it costs an average $9,930 each year for a student aged 41 or younger to go through the three years of seminary required for the priesthood.
But for those older than 42, often with families, the cost is an average $14,890 annually, the report says. The proportion of those in the older bracket has increased in recent years.
