USC Will Face Oregon State at Corvallis Today

The regular Pacific 10 season is winding down for USC’s basketball team, and the end can’t come too soon for the Trojans.

USC (8-17 overall, 3-13 in the Pac-10) will take a seven-game losing streak into today’s game with Oregon State at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore. The 3 p.m. game will be televised by Channel 2.

USC’s latest setback might have been the most frustrating. The Trojans led Oregon until the waning minutes Thursday night at Eugene, Ore., before losing, 57-55.

Oregon State (18-6, 10-5) beat USC, 57-51, last month at the Sports Arena. There is a glimmer of hope for the Trojans, though, because the visiting team in this series has won each of the last five games.
