Lakers Take the NBA’s Best Road Show to Philadelphia for Matinee With 76ers
PHILADELPHIA —
The Lakers, who have won the first two games of this trip to run their league-best road record to 18-10, will meet the Philadelphia 76ers at the Spectrum today in a nationally televised game (Channel 2, 9 a.m. PST).
The Lakers have outrebounded their opponents in six of their last eight games, but today they’ll be dealing with Charles Barkley, the NBA’s leading rebounder with an average of about 14 rebounds a game. The 76ers have won three straight games.
