Directors of Morehouse Industries Inc. have elected Dale H. Morehouse as president and chief executive officer of the Fullerton-based chemical equipment company.

Morehouse, 54, is the great-grandson of the founder of the 89-year-old company and represents the fourth generation of his family to head the company.

He joined the company on a full-time basis in 1969 after operating his own medical management firm. For the past year, Morehouse has been executive vice president and chief operating officer.
