Missile Test in Canada a Success

COLD LAKE, Canada —
The United States today launched an unarmed cruise missile from a B-52 bomber over the frozen Beaufort Sea. The test flight ended successfully three hours and 52 minutes later, a Canadian Forces major said in Alberta.
Today’s test was the seventh in Canadian airspace and the first since two unsuccessful flights last year prompted Ottawa to request suspension of testing until technical problems were studied.
