A six-month undercover narcotics investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department resulted in the arrests of 10 clerks and maintenance personnel at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Hollywood, officials said. Kaiser spokeswoman Karen Constine said that hospital administrators requested the Police Department’s help about six months ago in limiting drug use and sales at the facility on Sunset Boulevard. Those arrested were taken into custody after allegedly selling small quantities of cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamines to an undercover officer in recent months. No doctors, nurses or other medical personnel were implicated in the probe, Constine said. The hospital employs about 3,500 workers.
