Beverly Hills Smoking Law
What surprises me about Beverly Hills’ smoking ban in restaurants is that it took so long!
Can you imagine walking into a restaurant, wearing the finest clothes, perfume, and hair style, only to depart smelling like you had spent the day at the city dump.
I suspect that tax reform had something to do with this smoking ban. In the past, well-dressed nonsmokers probably took a casualty loss and tax deduction on all clothing worn in restaurants that permitted smoking.
