Daniel R. Carter has resigned as president and director of Cordata Technologies, a Thousand Oaks-based maker of IBM-compatible personal computers.
The announcement comes nearly two weeks after Carter’s resignation as chief executive officer was announced by Cordata. He had been replaced as CEO by Hyo-Bin Im, an executive with Daewoo, a Korean conglomerate that is Cordata’s majority shareholder.
The company originally said that Carter would stay on as president indefinitely to advise Im. But, in a statement last week, Carter said he decided to resign for personal reasons.
