The U.S. Air Force has completed a successful test of the cruise missile, the second in a week. The test, which had been postponed twice, ended when the unarmed missile landed by parachute on Canada’s sprawling Primrose Lake air weapons range on the Alberta-Saskatechewan border. While the 21-foot winged missile and the B-52 bomber that carries it could have flown, bad weather in the United States had grounded support and surveillance aircraft, delaying the test two days.
