The movie rights to an upcoming book about world-girdling Voyager pilots Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager have been purchased by Heritage Entertainment. Company head Skip Steloff said he and his colleagues are “excited about turning this moment in history, this love story of two adventurers, this accomplishment of the impossible dream” into a feature film. Former Vietnam War fighter pilot Rutan and Yeager met at an air show in 1979. They spent five years building and testing the plane they flew nonstop around the world in December.
