Remembering When

Share

No, not many of us can remember precisely where we were on Aug. 8, 1985 (Where Were You?” by Nikki Finke, Feb. 27), but then, not many of us are provided (at public expense) with aides, assistants, secretaries, and press representatives whose duty it is to jot down our every utterance for posterity. These jottings supposedly will be housed (again at public expense) in a vast mausoleum called a presidential library.
