A Chinese state-owned film company is making China’s first motion picture on the thousands of illegal immigrants who sneak across the border into Hong Kong. The movie, “Escape to Hong Kong,” is being shot in Shenzhen and depicts the fate of Chinese illegal immigrants in a capitalist society.
