Reagan’s Speech on Iran-Contra Issue
I suggest to the letter writers who are so anxious to heap bitter condemnations on President Reagan. Read a little of Abraham Lincoln’s “War Years” by Carl Sandburg.
I believe they will find others who could dish out the dirty accusations, innuendoes, and defamations with more hate.
The cartoonists of Lincoln’s time could also draw cartoons that were more abusive than the ones seen in The Times recently.
