Enterprise Formed for Toxic Waste Treatment

Fluor Corp. said that its Fluor Daniel unit has entered into an agreement with International Technology Corp. of Torrance in which the two firms will provide client companies with on-site treatment for toxic waste.

A Fluor spokesman said he could not put a monetary value on the agreement, adding that the two companies are “working on a number of promising proposals.” He said he was not free to discuss them.

International Technology Corp. is a firm engaged exclusively in the management of hazardous waste. Fluor Daniel is the engineering, construction and maintenance arm of Irvine-based Fluor Corp.
