‘Humanism as Religion’

Share

Too bad all those books and other publications were banned from school use in Alabama, because they allegedly preach secular humanism. Now we’re supposed to believe secular humanism is both religion and atheism.

By almost anyone’s definition, the Constitution is practically a manifesto of secular humanism. It trusts the people, and is mute on divine guidance, intervention, and fundamentalism. Further, most Americans would hold sacred the Constitution before they would do the same for a home economics text. Would the book burners dare to attack the Constitution? (Maybe it is on their agenda!)
