Drug tests have been ordered for mechanics who serviced a KC-135 jet tanker that crashed during practice runs for a new aerial show, killing seven people, an Air Force spokesman said Sunday.

A board of eight officers brought in from other Air Force commands to investigate last week’s crash at Fairchild Air Force Base formally convened Sunday, but base spokesman Bob Ballew said its findings would be kept secret.
