TeleQuest Inc. on Monday reported a $299,000 net loss and $9.7 million in revenue for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. TeleQuest reported a $1-million net profit and $9.6 million in revenue during the same quarter a year ago.

TeleQuest reported a $45,000 net profit and $25.4 million in revenue for the year. The net profit included a $144,000 tax benefit. TeleQuest reported a $1.7-million net profit and $17.7 million in revenue during 1985.

San Diego-based TeleQuest, which manufactures telephone systems for the residential and small-business markets, anticipates that 1987 will be “moderately profitable,” according to Chairman and Chief Executive H. Marcheschi.
