RTD Service

I have something new to report--some good RTD service! My mother recently visited for the first time since I moved to California last year. She is accustomed to excellent bus service in Minneapolis-St. Paul and saw no reason why she shouldn’t ride the bus here.

Based on the negative stories regularly reported in the media, I tried to dissuade her, but to no avail. Imagine my surprise when her experience was totally positive.

She called the RTD for information and received courteous and accurate assistance. The bus drivers were all polite and helpful.

It is discouraging to be part of a losing team and there is no question that RTD management and some employees are losers. I just wanted to let those people who are doing a good job know that they are appreciated and they brighten the day for their riders.
