Black TV viewers kept troubled TV series “Crime Story,” “Stingray” and “The Equalizer” alive, according to an advertising agency study released Wednesday. Blacks account for 12% of the population but represent 14% of the prime-time audience, the BBD&O; International Inc. study said. Other shows affected by black viewers: “Facts of Life,” “Hunter” and “Miami Vice.” Only four of the top 10 shows during the three-month period also appeared on the black audience’s top 10 list.
