Rank Xerox will sell its operations in South Africa.

The London-based company, which is 51% owned by Xerox Corp., said it is selling operations in a “statement about our concern over the social and political situation” there. Rank Xerox said it has reached an agreement to sell Rank Xerox South Africa to Fintech, a member of the Altron Group, an integrated electronics company. Financial details were not disclosed. A final agreement is expected May 1. Rank Xerox employs just over 800 people, nearly 40% of them black, mixed-race or Asian, the company said.
