A Rocky Mountain News poll revealed that Colorado residents are no more interested in playing host to the Olympic Games now than they were when the state’s voters rejected public financing for the 1976 Winter Games.

The Denver newspaper said of the 663 people who responded to the reader poll over he last two weeks, 386--or 58%--said Colorado should host neither the Summer nor the Winter Games.
