Reebok International Ltd. named C. Joseph LaBonte, 47, president and chief operating officer. Paul Fireman will continue as chairman and CEO of the Canton, Mass.-based athletic shoe company.

LaBonte is currently CEO of Vantage Group Inc., the investment firm he founded in 1983 after leaving 20th Century Fox Film Corp., where he had been president and chief operating officer.
