Iran plans to release another 100 disabled Iraqi prisoners captured in the Persian Gulf War, Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency said Wednesday.

The news agency report, monitored here, quoted Mohammed Ali Nazaran, secretary of the Supreme Defense Council and the Iranian official in charge of war prisoners. Nazaran said the Iraqis will be freed within the next three months.

Earlier this month, 76 wounded Iraqis were flown home by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
