Two Nevada banks are discussing a merger.
Valley Bank of Nevada, based in Las Vegas, and Security Bank of Nevada, Reno, said they agreed to “study the feasibility” of merging the two institutions. Valley Bank has 40 offices and $1.5 billion in assets, while Security Bank has 18 branches and $490 million in assets.
