Does downtown Anaheim remind you of downtown Los Angeles, Boston--or maybe Manhattan?
At least, the first building of Anaheim’s new City Center redevelopment project does have a “metropolitan look”, says Dennis Kelly, the city’s redevelopment project coordinator. “It’s a sharp-looking building.”
The completed, $25-million building at 222 S. Harbor Blvd. rises 11 stories and covers four acres. The building offers 188,000 square feet of office space.
Upon completion in 1990, the $200 million City Center will cover 13 acres and include three to four office building, a high-rise hotel, three parking structures, theaters, retail shops, restaurants and commercial facilities. It is being developed by Anaheim-based Meyer Investment Properties Inc.
