Costa Mesa Firm Signs to Develop Entry Systems

Voice Prints Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Camarilla Corp., said it has signed a $75,000 contract for development of prototype voice recognition entry systems.

The contract is with a company that Costa Mesa-based Camarilla Corp.’s chief executive, John McGoven, called “a national merchandising corporation,” but he declined to identify the company.

McGoven said the development pact could lead to a supply contract valued at about $4 million over the next two years.

Voice Prints designs, develops and markets computer hardware and software systems that use voice pattern recognition and voice-actuated controls to operate devices such as door locks.
