Affirmative Action Ruling
What ever happened to civil rights? How can anyone say that the Supreme Court decision allowing employers to promote less qualified women over better qualified men is not discriminatory? It is very discriminatory. The ruling says in effect that if you’re a white male you may not be promoted because you are a white male regardless of the fact that you are more qualified.
Civil rights laws are supposed to protect, and give equal rights to all people, regardless of race, religion or sex . Instead of favoring one segment of society over another we should work together to implement the true spirit of civil rights. Discriminating against a different group is still discrimination.
