SCI Systems will acquire some of Fortune’s assets.

Huntsville, Ala.-based SCI will pay cash for Belmont, Calif.-based Fortune Systems Corp.’s research and development, manufacturing, sales, marketing and support operations. Fortune Systems designs, develops, manufactures and markets the UNIX-based Fortune 32:16 desktop computer system and the Fortune Formula, a new computer system based on the Motorola MC68020 microprocessor.
