2 Basque Terrorists Killed by Own Bomb

TAFALLA, Spain —
Two Basque separatists were killed and a third was seriously injured Sunday when a bomb they were handling exploded, officials said.
The three men apparently were preparing to place the 13-pound bomb in a nearby French automobile dealership when it went off accidentally in Tafalla, police said. Tafalla is 180 miles north of Madrid.
Since a crackdown by France against Basque activists living in that country, supporters have bombed dozens of French automobile showrooms and other French-owned businesses in Spain.
